Apparently KCF caused quite a stir on Saturday 28th Feb when we set off approximately 30 sky candles at the end of the wedding celebrations! Reports say that pubs and homes were emptied in Kirkby as people poured on to the streets to see the phenomenon! Radio City received many reports of UFO sightings and witness reports have been written online. Sorry to disappoint anyone who had their hopes on visitors from outer space! These lanterns symbolised our hopes and prayers for Hannah and Nathan. KCF hopes to empty pubs and homes in the future!!!

Congratulations to Hannah and Nathan Watts who were married on the 28th February 2009 at KCF!

The service was a very happy occasion which included the following songs; the Desert Song, Take all of me and Inside out all chosen by Hannah and Nathan as they had a special meaning to them and also the church. Representatives from family and ministry groups within KCF showed their commitment to support Hannah and Nathan throughout their marriage by each adding a single rose to a bouquet. We celebrated together with a toast of champagne and chocolates!

Later on guests were invited back to KCF where the church had been beautifully transformed. Carol and Karen headed up the catering team providing a fantastic sit down meal which was well enjoyed by all.

Thanks to the multiskilled partners at KCF who were able to provide everything from catering to photography, from decor to music. We make a fantastic team!!!
