Teamwork

Teams . . . not just a good idea but a God idea!!!

147870_team.jpg Partners in KCF serve together in ministry teams. In KCF we are learning to pull together to achieve what would be impossible on our own. Teams and teamwork are not just a good idea to spread the work load - they are a God idea. Jesus didn't do all the work on His own; He chose a team to help Him.

The Bible describes the Body of Christ - the church - as a team; all the different parts of the body work together to achieve common goals and purposes. God's work involves many different individuals with a variety of gifts talents and abilities. There are no "super stars" in this work, only team members performing their own unique roles. In the Old Testament Nehemiah could never have done all the work of rebuilding Jerusalem himself.

He received news of a work that needed to be done; he shared the need and the plan with enthusiasm and inspired a team to rebuild the walls. Nehemiah 2:17-18. the work was finished in a record number of days.

TEAMWORK IS THE OVERFLOW OF WHAT GOD HAS DONE AMONG US. IT'S THE OVERFLOW OF HIS LOVE.

Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in the very nature of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death - even death on a cross!" (Philippians 2:3-8)

In KCF we have some exciting and unique teams that work together.
